Food, atmosphere and service was really great! Micah was out waiter and he was very friendly and on top of his service game. Attentive and friendly! The food was DELISH along with the drinks. We ate shrimp quesidilla and the bomb burrito. (I think that was name) wrapped in bacon.

The service was stellar! I had the Birria tacos and chunky guacamole, my husband had the chimichanga and he loved it too! The chips and salsa were warm and delicious.

This place has been mine and my husbands GO-TOO while in Bay city. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is a whole vibe. Really enjoyed going while DJ Chop was there on fridays, the music made the experience way better. Nonetheless highly recommend this location.

Delicious food and attentive service! We wanted to be adventurous and so instead of going to our favorite Mexican restaurant in town, we tried Vallarta Mexican Grill. We were not disappointed. Now it will be hard to choose which place to go. My husband got the Mucho Dinner with cheese enchiladas and enjoyed it very much. I tried something new and got the El Rey plate which was an Anaheim pepper stuffed with fajita beef and rolled into a flour tortilla covered in chili sauce. It was very different and delicious. The service was exceptional and friendly. We were not disappointed and will go back.

Sat at the bar... ordered appetizer & a drink there & main course to go. Service is fast & food is excellent!!

We were looking for a place to eat a late dinner. This is a great restaurant. The service was fantastic. When they served the salsa hot and crispy tortillas chips I knew I was in for a surprise. I ordered the Mexican chicken tacos and a full order of guacamole. All the food was delicious.

We visited on Saturday from out of town. It was our first visit. Those chips are thick and heavy. And they were our least favorite of the food we had. It's a shame too because the salsa is so good and so was the queso.. but the chips ruined it for us. I saw a plate delivered by our waitress and said I just have that.. it was called El Capitan and it was fried catfish with a Mexican type etoufee on top. My friend got the plate that had enchiladas and a taco that replaced his guacamole. Our food was pretty good. I don't live in that town.. but would never go back due to those chips. PLUS. They add a credit card fee to every ticket. Even if you're paying cash.. that's no BUENO!!

This was our first time dinning here and wasn't disappointed. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Our food was fresh and very delicious. This is a must stop if you are looking for a refreshing taste.
